The LAMBO Protocol
A New Standard for registering Licence Plates in the Bitcoin Metaverse
The LAMBO Protocol is an acronym that roughly stands for -
L - Licence Plate
A - Assets
M - Managed on
B - Bitcoin
O - Ordinals
The Bitcoin Metaverse (Bitverse) was birthed on Block #792435 when 0.bitmap was inscribed by the pseudonymous Bitoshi Blockamoto.
The first signs of Life on Bitcoin began on Block #767430 with the launch of Ordinals and Inscription #0 by Casey Rodamor. This is called the LB Era. In this era we saw the launch of Bitcoin Frogs, Pixel Pepes and many more creative expressions on Bitcoin.
25,005 blocks after the first signs of Life on Bitcoin, Bitmap was launched which formalized the Bitverse land registry. Title deeds for land in the Bitverse are currently being inscribed following the first is first rule after a fair launch. First is first has become the de facto standard on Bitcoin.
Now that the Bitverse is here, it is time to further populate it with novel onchain assets. Today I introduce the LAMBO Protocol.
LAMBO THEORY 101
A New Standard for registering Licence Plates in the Bitcoin Metaverse. Adopting the first is first rule, licence plates can be inscribed onto Bitcoin and be assigned to their respective owners.
Licence plates can be any number between 0-99999, which has 5 digits. Or a combination of 1 or 2 letters fixed to the front plus 5 numbers for a total of 7 digits.
These would all be considered valid combinations:
0.lambo A.lambo AA.lambo 12345.lambo AB12345.lambo ZX9099.lambo BB788.lambo GM21.lambo C123.lambo Q78.lambo X1.lambo
In order to successfully inscribe your licence plate, the post-fix .lambo in all lowercase must be added
As long as you are the first to inscribe with the correct format, it will be registered by the LAMBO Protocol.
Please note the protocol is case sensitive. All licence plate letters must be in capitals. And the post-fix .lambo is always lower case.
